How are freelance rates structured?

Freelance consultants within the marketing, media, PR & communications, internal communications, public affairs, design, editorial, digital, events and advertising sectors, charge a daily rate for their services.

Is there a typical daily rate?

Daily rates vary considerably according to the market, discipline, the level of experience, the skills required and the length of contract. In certain circumstances they will charge project fees. Some freelance consultants will add VAT, but others will not be registered.
