Freelance rates

Freelance consultants in the marketing, media, PR & communications, internal communicationsm public affairs, design, editorial, digital, events and advertising sectors, will generally charge a daily rate for their services.

Daily rates vary considerably according to the market, discipline, level of experience, skills required and length of contract.

Project fees

In certain circumstances directors, managers, executives and other freelance consultants will work for a project fee. Some consultants will add VAT if they are VAT registered.
